I feel that the only real superstar that will come from the 2008 talent is Derrick Rose. There is a ton of great talent, but no one along the likes of a LeBron or Melo of 2003 or Jordan or Hakeem. I would say it is a toss up between 1984 and 2003, but I cant believe Goose forgot to mention anything about the draft class that Mutumbo was in...he alone would make any draft class amazing!! So lets throw that one in there too....what draft class was it...1956, 1957??D-Blockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00834183156504340942noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5001311273941846750.post-19174101007613967082009-05-29T19:37:30.292-07:002009-05-29T19:37:30.292-07:00Goose and Kyle sound like an old married couple. I think some of the points being made about some people are a little stretched. Maybe I'm just lazy, but I like to just look at the "Superstars" of drafts, rather than listing almost every player in the draft. So many players are going to have the chance to be a starter in the NBA at some point in their career, whether thats due to injuries or just talent, thats also arguable. With that being said, I think I have to go with Goose on this one with the 2003 and 1984 drafts are the best. My overall vote would be for the 2003. However, I dont think it's ridiculous to bring up the 2008 draft class, I just think its much too early to tell. There are definitely some guys in that class that could end up being HOF'ers if they keep progressing and getting better.

Also, can I just say that I never thought I'd read an article entitled "Best Draft Class Ever" and see one of the FOR arguments be around Matt Bonner, well done Goose.Justinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10844793053720487459noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5001311273941846750.post-74325359698969386662009-05-21T14:45:37.845-07:002009-05-21T14:45:37.845-07:00I feel that defining what makes the "best draft cl...I feel that defining what makes the "best draft class ever" is less ambiguous then what Kyle makes it seem. To me it is the combination of superstar talent and solid contributors. With a higher emphasis obviously put on superstars then solid contributors, and an even higher emphasis on hall of famers than all-stars. With that being said, I am confident in stating that the 2003 and 1984 draft classes are better than even the potential of this draft classgossettr@gmail.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12301882088095864561noreply@blogger.com
